Supernova Swing: A Raypunk Playlist

All right, here's my attempt at assembling a raypunk-type playlist. Again not 100% convinced on the order but they all have flavors of some of the zany outer space drama.

1. Flash's Theme (Queen)

Ming: Klytus I'm bored. What plaything can you offer me today?
Klytus: An obscure body in the S-K system, Your Majesty. The inhabitants refer to it as the planet...Earth.

2. Sweet Dreams (Eurythmics)

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something

3. Cosmic Castaway (Electrasy)

Lose my head to the chemical freeway
Comin' up on overload
In a mystic new dimension
Purify and sanctify me

4. Lone Digger (Caravan Palace)

Hey brother what you thinking?
Leave that old record spinning
You feel the rhythm going

5. Jupiter's Child (Steppenwolf)

The one who reads the stars has told me
Why you're not like everyone
Your father is a fiery wizard
He travels all around the sun

6. New Future Weapon (Billy Idol)

Higher than a mile my weaponology
I can take you out babe with pinpoint accuracy
Riding in the raptor
Danger to the max
Shoot you if you're flying by
The power of my attack

7. Diva Dance (Eric Serra)

Operatic instrumental

8. My Type (Saint Motel)

When there's loving in the air
Don't fight it, just keep breathing
I can't help myself but stare
Double check for double meanings
I'm a man who's got very specific taste

9. Weapon of Choice (Fatboy Slim)

Walk without rhythm and it won't attract the worm

9. Undisclosed Desires (Muse)

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart
I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask

10. Imperial Battle/Homeworld soundtrack (Paul Ruskay)

Instrumental
11. A Girl Like You (Edwyn Collins)

I've never known a girl like you before
Now just like in a song from days of yore
Here you come a-knockin' knockin on my door
And I've never met a girl like you before

12. Kashmir (Led Zeppelin)

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face
Stars fill my dream
I'm a traveler of both time and space
To be where I have been
Sit with elders of the gentle race
This world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait
All will be revealed

13. Your Love/Deja Vu (Glass Animals)

Too far from over you
Beams from your M2
Are blowing through my room
And now you
Lay down in my shoes
You dyed your hair blue
Oh, so much deja vu

14. Macro (Depeche Mode)

Overflowing senses
Heightened awareness
I hear my blood flow
I feel its caress
Whispering cosmos
Talking right to me
Unlimited, endless
God breathing through me

15. Mind Storm (Joe Satriani)

Instrumental

16. Feel Good Inc. (Gorillaz)

City's breaking down on a camel's back
They just have to go 'cause they don't know whack
So while you fill the streets it's appealing to see
You won't get undercounted 'cause you're damned and free

17. Conquest of Spaces (Woodkid)

I'm ready to start the conquest of spaces
Expanding between you and me
Come with the night the science of fighting
The forces of gravity

18. A Good Song Never Dies (Saint Motel)

Home, the wonder drug
Don't book no more, think it took too much
Sweat, you equity
Make the caffeine be your weaponry
What, is the reason
There never was one needed

19. Miracle (Caravan Palace)

No more nap, your turn is coming up
You feel lazy but stop the fantasies and bubble butts
If you need to hear: go for it
I will teach you how to feel the thing so close to you, connect it all

20. Flash's Theme (Queen)

Flash! Ah-ah!
Savior of the universe!
